Welcome to Hausner Cattle Company!

We maintain a small herd of Registered Hereford Cattle with an emphasis on structure and quality.  We like cattle that are easy on the eyes, easy to work with, and that put money in the bank! Our breeding program has an old fashioned approach- developing females based on one main cow family, retaining those daughters, and breeding for traits we want to emphasize. We enjoy the show road, but ultimately want our cattle to be productive and practical.  

We have put a lot of effort into developing our pastures and utilize an intensive rotational grazing system for our cow herd. Our mature cows are fed only on pasture with supplemented hay and silage in the winter. Conservation practices like stream fencing, buffers, and manure management plans help to ensure we are doing our part to benefit the environment as well as our cows.
